Since 1984, we've crossed the length and breadth of Australia on the backs and shoulders of Australian road warriors. Johnny Reb began as a little fish in a vast pond (part of a much larger Australian Footwear firm), but quickly grew into a famous brand in the Australian motorcycling community. A brand that has evolved and matured through time to stand and ride on its own, encapsulating the real Australian lifestyle. In 2016, two friends from Melbourne, Australia, took over Johnny Reb. Their Mount Waverley office is now owned and operated (Australia). When the business was originally founded, they were both only knee height to a grasshopper, thus it was critical for them to maintain the brand's traditional workmanship and Aussie spirit.

The duo kept manufacturing continuing with the same manufacturers who had been creating their renowned ‘leather harness' boots for years (and still are! ), despite the fact that they were only a tiny leather footwear business at the time with deep ties in the Australian riding community. The collection is still expanding in 2020. Over 150 stores and dealerships throughout the nation stock it, and it's pleased to be such an iconic fixture in the Australian motorcycling community after 35 years.
