The heel and toe areas are wrapped in protective plastic\/PU as well to protect you from impacts. Contrary to the Crossfire series, the Atojo SRS uses only 3 buckles (which are entirely replaceable of course) instead of four, together with an easy to adjust Velcro closure at the top for a wider adjustment. What we love most about these boots though is the double Flex system: the Atojo SRS features one joint under the ankle, to reduce the width of the boot and make it more comfortable on the inside. The support brace placed inside has a limited excursion to prevent hypertension of the ankle, instep and back tendon. The second joint sits just about the ankle and works in sync with the lower joint to improve the flexibility of the boot without compromising rigidity and protection.
